Tori Longdon studied at Durham University and the Royal Academy of Music, where she was awarded a distinction for her MA in Choral Conducting. She is now an Associate Conductor for top national choir Ex Cathedra and conducts a number of ensembles around London including The Covent Garden Chorus which is based in the Actor’s Church in Covent Garden. She is the co-founder of the world’s largest virtual choir, the Stay At Home Choir.
Tori works extensively with young voices, both as a conductor for the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain and the Voices Foundation. She also coaches voice for the Royal Schools of Church Music.
Tori is currently an adjudicator and on-screen conductor for Songs of Praise and she was a judge on two series of the ‘The Choir’ with Gareth Malone. She writes about music for Classic FM’s online magazine and has recently been shortlisted for a ‘Women of the Future’ award for her contribution to the arts.
